Worship and Music $ 115,000
Our church celebrates the vibrancy of its worship. In worship, we gather as a community of faith where we celebrate God's presence and respond to God's call to service in our world. Our ministry personnel, Director of Music Ministries and choir prepare for the weekly worship services. We have a strong tradition of involving lay members in leadership in our worship which symbolizes our belief that everyone has a ministry. We offer worship each week at 10:15 a.m. and special worship services at other times.
Christian Development
$ 70,000
Through Christian
nurture, each one of us grows in our knowledge of God. Children are
welcomed into the nursery and children's church; youth are offered a place to
explore their faith; adults choose a variety of ways to learn and explore -
through fellowship groups, study sessions and workshops. As we gain skill
in articulating our beliefs, we are better equipped to share our faith with
others.
Pastoral
Care
$ 70,000
We offer ongoing care and support to all
members and friends of our congregation. We respond to individuals in times of crisis, illness and
bereavement. We keep in touch with
members who are housebound or who live in extended care facilities. Our ministry personnel, and lay visitors
want to make this church a caring community where each person is able to feel
the love of God being shared with one another.
Mission
Outreach
$ 90,000
As people of God, we are called to work in the world around
us. We provide time and money for
God’s work beyond our church walls. This work takes place beyond our city, in
our country, and in countries all around the world. We also support the work of the United
Church through Presbytery and Conference
assessments. Our congregation has a strong ministry of outreach through the
Mission and Service Fund of the United Church. We are called to seek justice and
equality for others.
Community
Outreach $ 100,000
As the people of
God, we also recognize the needs of the local community around us. Those
on our doorsteps are often abused, have been treated unjustly, or are in need of food or shelter. Our ministry is varied.
