New Way to be Church

Messy Church
Geared for families with children 6 and under, Messy Church is a One-Room-Church model that we'll be having on the first Saturday of the month .  There will be crafts, stories and songs for everyone, a time of sharing and snacks.  This is a chance to hang and talk with other young familes, to explore your spirituality and to have a form of church that fits the modern family. It might be a great thing for grandparents who want to come with their young grandkids too.   If you'd like to come and you don't have young kids, maybe you'd like to help Desmond with some of the prep work too?   Messy Church is  from 10:30 to noon in Trinity's Hearth Room.

This church model is inspired by the Fresh Expressions movement.  It is not intended to be a stepping stone to get you to come to the "real" church service but to find a different way in the 21st century to be church, to live out the faith of Jesus in a new generation.

If you'd like to talk more about alternative services  you can talk to Desmond Jagger-Parsons at 519-742-3578 x.3 or at desmond@tuckitchener.org or check out http://www.freshexpressions.ca/
